I was recently engaged. Problem: I cannot find a wedding band that looks good with my engagement ring. It is a 1 3/4 karat 3 stone princess cut in white gold. I really don’t want too fancy of a band. PLEASE HELP!!!

Do you always have to have Engagement ring AND wedding band?

Or is it normal to just have an engagement ring and not the wedding band? I kind of just want something simple and like the looks of a three-stone princess cut engagement ring (w/ a thicker white gold band), I think it looks fine on its own. I would think it would be ok. Also, you’ve made a GREAT choice with moissanite! It’s a GORGEOUS stone! I love it!
Aaanyways, I know someone who never got an engagement ring so got an elaborate ring like that one and it was her wedding band. I don’t see why you couldn’t use your engagement ring as your wedding ring!

You can get a jeweler to make you a special design in the metal of your choice. Your ring would be truly unique. My fiancee’s engagement ring and wedding band are both unique in that I bought the stone for the engagement ring separately and then had a friend who is a jeweler design the setting. After she said yes, I got back in contact with my jeweler friend and she is now working on my fiancee’s wedding band that will match perfectly.
